Welcome to the WTC Business Club Lisboa App. By registering, accessing, or using this application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and Privacy Notice ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

WTC Business Club Lisboa reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility and Registration

The App is intended for professionals who are members or guests of the WTC Business Club Lisboa. By using this App, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide during registration is accurate, complete, and up to date.

When registering for the App, you may provide the following personal information:

First Name, Last Name, Role, Company Name, E-Mail, Phone Number, WhatsApp Phone Number, LinkedIn Profile, Profile Picture, Biography, and Interests.

You agree that all information provided during registration or in your user profile is truthful and will be kept up to date. The administrators of WTC Business Club Lisboa reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that contains false, misleading, or inappropriate information.

3. Use of Personal Data

By registering and using the App, you acknowledge and agree that your personal information may be:

a) Shared with other users: The details you provide in your profile will be visible to other users in the social networking area of the App.

b) Shared with WTC Business Club Lisboa administrators and stakeholders: Your profile information may be used to contact you for networking, business opportunities, events, and other professional engagements.

c) Used for analytics: The App collects information about your device model, operating system version, and app version for analytical purposes to improve app performance and user experience.

4. Social Networking and Location-Based Features

The App includes a social networking feature where users can interact and share their business profiles. You can also choose to share your real-time geolocation with other users. This functionality requires explicit consent each time you activate it and can be turned off at any time. When enabled, other users nearby will be able to see that you are in the area, and you will be able to find other users around you.

5. Event Registration and Media Usage

By registering for an event through the App, you agree to the following:

a) Image and Video Capture: Your image may be captured during the event and used by WTC Business Club Lisboa for promotional and communication purposes.

b) Sharing of Participant Information: Other event participants may view your name, company, and registration details within the App.

c) Visibility of Registration: Other users of the App will be able to see that you have registered for an event.

6. Membership-Based Features

Certain features of the App are available only to paying members of the WTC Lisboa Business Club, including:

a) Finding Nearby Users: The ability to see and connect with users who are physically close.

b) Event Attendee Lists: The ability to view participants attending the same event.

c) Business Opportunities: Access to curated business networking opportunities and member-exclusive interactions.

7. Access to Mobile Device Features

The App requires access to the following features of your mobile device:

a) Contacts: To allow you to save other users' contact details.

b) Camera: To enable QR code scanning for networking and user connections.

c) Geolocation: To support the "Find Nearby Users" feature in the networking area.

By installing and using the App, you authorize these permissions. You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time via your device settings.

8. Push Notifications

The App sends push notifications to provide updates on events, business opportunities, and important news. By installing the App, you consent to receiving these notifications, which you can disable at any time in your device settings.

9. Data Storage, Security, and Third-Party Services

All user data is securely stored in Google's cloud infrastructure. While WTC Lisboa Business Club takes reasonable security measures to protect your data, no system is entirely immune to security risks.

The App may also integrate third-party services (e.g., LinkedIn, Google Maps) to enhance functionality. These third parties have their own privacy policies, and WTC Business Club Lisboa is not responsible for their practices.

10. User Responsibilities

As a user of this App, you agree to:

a) Use the App in a lawful and professional manner.

b) Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other users.

c) Not use the App for spam, harassment, or any unethical business practices.

d) Not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content without prior authorization.

11. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, and content within the App are the property of WTC Business Club Lisboa or their respective owners. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any materials is strictly prohibited.

12. Limitation of Liability

WTC Business Club Lisboa is not responsible for:

a) The accuracy of information shared by users.

b) Any technical issues, outages, or interruptions in service.

c) Any loss, damage, or business interruption arising from the use of the App.

Users assume full responsibility for their interactions within the App.

13. Termination

WTC Business Club Lisboa reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account that violates these Terms. Users may also delete their accounts at any time, subject to the retention of certain data required for compliance with legal or regulatory obligations.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
